PharmaNess invests all of its resources in Research and Development activities. The wide range of specific skills of our researchers allows the carrying out of most of the preclinical phases of drug development. 

The main research lines carried out in PharmaNess are:
-    New antipsychotic compounds with atypical profile;
-    Development of innovative animal models;
-    New anti-obesity compounds;
-    New analgesic compounds;
-    Development of natural extracts with pharmacological activity;
-    Innovative pharmaceutical formulations;
-    Development of genetic platforms for population screening and molecular diagnosis.

The different lines of research are performed in-house by PharmaNess where almost 40 researchers specialized in chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology and genetics work in 14 research laboratories using advanced infrastructures. A SPF (specific pathogen free) animal facility and other 6 research laboratories dedicated to animal behavioural study complete the high-quality level of the infrastructures.
